<title>World Championship in the class O-250 for Luigi Colombi</title>

<description><strong>Luigi Colombi (Italy) won the Powerboat’s World Championship in the class O-250, in Janikowo. Second place was taken by another Italian driver - Salwatore Chiuri, and Peter Bodor (Hungary) got the third place.</strong><br><br><strong>Massimiliano Cremoni</strong>, was not able to win his World Championship title in this class. He was disqualified, due to present of prohibited additions in his fuel. <strong>Cremona Alessandro</strong> was disqualified because of the same reason. After changing the result, Chiuri and Bodor were able to get on the podium. One Polish driver – <strong>Bartłomej Marszałek</strong> (Polonia Warszawa) participated in Sunday’s championship races. He ended up on eighth position with 207 points. <strong>Henryk Synoracki</strong>, after Saturday’s collision with <strong>Paul Jillings</strong>, did not take part in the final races.<br><br><img src="http://www.motorowodne.janikowo.com/images/niusy/colombi.jpg" border="0"><br><br><img src="http://www.motorowodne.janikowo.com/images/niusy/chiuri.jpg" border="0"><br><br><img src="http://www.motorowodne.janikowo.com/images/niusy/bodor.jpg" border="0"><br><br>Only two drivers took part in the class O-700. <strong>Witold Bartnicki</strong> had to resign due to breakdown of his engine. <strong>Ferenc Csako</strong> (Austria) was the best in this class and <strong>Tadeusz Haręza</strong> (Team Haręza) took second place.<br><br>Results in the classes<br><strong><u>O-250</u></strong><br>1. Tabori Aron - Hungary – 400<br><br>The weather during the second day of competition (Sunday) was excellent. Beautiful sun, high temperature a little bit of wind made competition more colorful. There were a lot of people gathered on the beach who could feel very satisfied.<br><br>Closing ceremony took place at 5 pm. The drivers received cups, medals and prizes. We have to remember that the Powerboat Championship 2007 in Janikowo has been organized by <strong>Organizing Committee</strong> for tenth time. We have to also remember, that organization of such championship was not possible without our sponsors. He was only 31 years old. <br><br>Bernard was born in 1976. He came from well known powerboat family. His father - Waldemar was one of the best powerboat pilots in the world. His brother - Bartlomej is racing too. Bernard was a member of Polonia Warszawa. He got the World Championship title and the medals of Europe Championship competitions. He was also Polish Champion. In 2004, during World Championship in Podolsky Most, he had serious accident. He came back to competition. He started in Janikowo in the class O-700 last year.<br><br>The Powerboat Races Organization Committee in Janikowo, offers family condolences. <div align="center"><strong>We will remember</strong></div><br></description>

<title>The Powerboat Championship in class O-250 in Janikowo</title>

<description><strong>9-10 June 2007: The Powerboat Championship in class O-250 in Janikowo</strong> <br><br>On Union Internationale Motonautique's website there is a calendar of Powerboat World and Europe Championships in 2007. We can read there that World Championship in class O-250 will take place in Janikowo. This Championship will be held in our town on 09-10 June 2007.<br><br>Below, we are presenting the basic information about the Powerboat class O-250.<br><br>World Championships in this class have been organized since 1966. First World Championship title was won by Germen pilot - <strong>Joachim Conrad</strong>. The present World Champion is Italian - <strong>Micheleangelo Politi</strong> and the present Europe Champion is <strong>Olle Dickfors</strong> from Sweden. Poland Championship was run in 2003 and <strong>Bernard Marszałek</strong> was the winner then. Polish powerboat pilot have several successes in this class too. <strong>Waldemar Marszałek</strong> got the World Champion title four times. Also, <strong>Henryk Synoracki</strong> was World Champion once. Last nine World Championships in that class were taken by Italian pilots<br><br>The pilots in class O-250 compete in laying down position in the boats of hydroplane type. The weight of boat is up to 120 kilos and up to 190 kilos together with the pilot. The most often used engines are: Koning, Rossi and made in Poland - Sygado (from the constructors' names: Synoracki, Grabarski and Dorozała). The capacity is from 176 to 250 centimetres. They use special kind of petrol which is the mixture of methanol and castor oil. The power of engine is about 70 KM. Maximum speed is about 140 kph. The best speed record belong to British - <strong>Malcolm Goodman</strong> (166,77 kph).<br><br>There is still much time to The Powerboat World Championship in class O-250. But, we are already happy because of the fact that our town will be hosting that event. </description>

<title>Borne Sulinowo 2006</title>

Kedziora's Memorial in the class S550 and Elimination Round of the International Polish Powerboat Championship in the classes: O-125, O-700, T-400, T-550 and JT-250. </strong>The last powerboat championship in 2006 in Poland was organized in Borne Sulimowo from September 9 to October 1. In the program of this event we could see the Miroslaw Kedziora's Memorial in the class S550 and the last qualification round of the International Polish Powerboat Championship in the classes O-125, O-700, T-400, T-550 and JT-250.<br><br>Only two pilots took part in the Memorial. The winner was <strong>Lechosław Rybarczyk</strong> with 1100 points. Second place was got by <strong>Andrzej Lisy</strong> (1000 points).<br><br>Much more interesting competitions were in other classes. It was the last qualification round of the International Polish Powerboat Championship in the classes O-125, O-700, T-400, T-550 and JT-250. The last competitions did not change anything in the general classification.<br><br>The best in these classes were:<br><br><strong>S550</strong> - Lechosław Rybarczyk, Andrzej Lisy<br><strong>O125</strong> - Sebastian Kęciński, Marcin Zieliński, Robert Hencz<br><strong>O700</strong> - Ferenc Csákó, Tadeusz Haręza, Krzysztof Bartnicki<br><strong>T400</strong> - Gatis Gibners, Katarzyna Ciołek, Krzysztof Ey<br><strong>T550</strong> - Michał Gembiak, Łukasz Ciołek, Marcin Gembiak<br><strong>JT250</strong> - Ada Przybył, Martiną Morozs, Katarzyna Olender<br><br>The Championship in Borne Sulimowo ended the 2006 powerboat season in Poland. Qualification Round of the International Polish Powerboat Championship in the classes S-550, T-550, JT-250.</strong><br><br>The powerboat Europe Championship in class O-700 and class T-850 was run in ¦rem last weekend of August.<br><br>After dwo days of competition, first place in class O-700 was taken by <strong>Attila Havas</strong> from Austria, who got 1200 points. Secon place got <strong>Ferenc C¶ako</strong> (Austria) - 900 points and <strong>Tadusz Haręza</strong> (Team Haręza) got third place with 450 points.<br><br>In class T-850 the Europen Champion title was got by <strong>Peter Sandor</strong> (Hungary), who after three round gathered 1200 points. Second place was won by <strong>Gustav Kremnizky</strong> from Slovakia (900 points) and third by <strong>László Lengyel</strong> from Hungary (850 points).<br><br>In addition, we could see the Qualification Round of the International Polish Powerboat Championship in the classes S-550, T-550, JT-250. <description><strong>European Powerboat Championship in the class S-550<br></strong><strong>Elimination Round of the International Polish Powerboat Championship in the classes: 0-700, T-550, T-400, JT-250.<br></strong><div><br>We have just finished the European Powerboat Championship in the class S-550 on the Vistula river right in the center of Warsaw in Poland. The best european pilots have been racing during the weekend of 29.-30. July 2006 providing fans with thrills and real adrenaline-pumping experience, fortunately without any major incidents.<br>Simultaneously Elimination Rounds of the International Polish Powerboat Championships have been held in the fastest class O-700, the classes with homologated engines T-550 and T-400 where everything depends on the piliots&rsquo; performance and for the youngsters in JT-250.<br>The U.I.M. <description><strong><div align="center">Powerboat World Championship T-550</div><br></strong>The Powerboat World Championship in class T-550, the Qualification round of International Poland Championship in class O-125, T-400, S-550, the Żnin Grand Prix in class JT-250 and the ADAC Cup took place in Żnin last weekend.<br><br><strong>Adam Łabędzki</strong> (KS Posnania) became the Powerboat World Champion in class T-550.<br><br><div align="center"><img src="images/niusy/labedzki.jpg" border="0"><br><br></div><br>Łabędzki was unbeatable. He won three of four races and got full number of 1200 points. <strong>Krzysztof ¦niadecki</strong> (Baszta Żnin) was second. He won once (2nd race) and he was fourth and second in the next races. The third place and bronze medal went to <strong>Michał Gembiak</strong> (KS Posnania).<br><br><strong>Daniel Pietrasik</strong> from SKM LOK Szczecin was the best in the Powerboat International Poland Championship in class O-125. It was second qualification round in that class.<br><br><div align="center"><img src="images/niusy/pietrasik.jpg" border="0"><br><br></div><br>Lechosław Rybarczyk got first place in class S-550.<br><br><div align="center"><img src="images/niusy/rybarczyk.jpg" border="0"><br><br></div><br>and <strong>Gatis Gibners</strong> from LAT / Liepaja Shipyard Team won in class T-400<br><br><div align="center"><img src="images/niusy/gatis.jpg" border="0"><br><br></div><br>During that Powerboat Championship, Żnin Grand Prix took place too. The winner of that competition was driver from SKM LOK Szczecin - <strong>Bartosz Chojnacki</strong>.<br><br>It is worthy to say few words about formula ADAC. Żnin hosted this formula and it was the qualification round of German Championship. Twelve drivers participated in three races in that competition. <strong>Nick Bisterfeld</strong> was the best in the first race. <strong>Alexander Scheller</strong> won the races number two and three but he did not finish the first run. Therefore, Bisterfeld became the winner.<br><br><div align="center"><img src="images/niusy/bisterfeld.jpg" border="0"><br><br></div><br>In general, the Championship in Żnin was very successful. Because of very good weather, many spectators came to the lake to watch the competition. At the Saturday and Sunday&rsquo;s evenings, we could watch the artistic program prepared by organizers. Now we would like to publish our correction.<br>Earlier, we stated that there was a collision in second race in the class O-700, between <strong>Tadeusz Haręza</strong> and <strong>James Aderholt</strong> and this accident was caused by Polish driver - Haręza.<br>After that event, there was no official protest from either site coming to the Judge's Committee. Because of that, it has to be declared, that nobody was guilty&nbsp;of this collision - neither <strong>Tadeusz Haręza</strong> nor <strong>James Aderholt</strong>.<br>We apologize for the lack of full information about this invent on our website. </description>
